Born in Sweden, brought up in the Netherlands, a full-blooded Finn who has soon spent half of her life in the United States,

Johanna Telander (also known by the name Jozu Kristi) is an international traveler and freelance artist currently splitting her time equally in music, voice-over and other creative pursuits along with being a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful kids under four.

Most originally from Helsinki, Finland, she has quite a list of  professional experiences in the performing arts, especially in the music business. Having collaborated with the finest performers in Europe and the US, and working with Warner and BMG in Helsinki, Jozu's young career took shape singing in cover bands including jazz trios, disco bands and big bands. In the studio, Johanna aka Jozu also recorded solo projects for labels such as Universal Music, scoring a top-selling& most-played list hit single in Finland in 2003.

Johanna got her Bachelors of Arts in Music (Jazz Studies) from the Capital University Conservatory of Music in Columbus Ohio, where she made many musician contacts with whom she gigged throughout her academic career. One of the most amazing opportunities while there was working as a soloist of the Rick Brunetto’s Big Band. 

In 2007, Johanna moved to New York to further her studies at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. 
Many acting and modeling projects followed- She participated in close to fifty indie films in five years, including the fan film favorite Mr J. series by Blinky Productions.
