MISS BABS & the Kickin’ Boogie Band continues to perform at various events and venues, including appearances at Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing, NYCB Theater at Westbury, Nantucket Yacht Club, NYC & Long Island Outdoor Concert Series and various charity benefits and corporate functions.  Her CD, “GOOD HOME COOKIN”, hit the top 50 on the Pan European Charts and continues to receive raves from music lovers far and near.

When Babs is not recording or performing with her band, she can be found on the New York musical stage, Film, TV & Cabaret. A few of her accomplishments include appearances on the TV shows THE AMERICANS & VEEP, and a lead role in the Off Broadway production of COUGAR THE MUSICAL as Mary Marie. You can still find her not-to-be-missed episode on The Onion News Network as  “Tanya” in COUNTRY STARS CHALLENGE AL QAEDA WITH PATRIOTIC SONG and she can also be seen in 18 College Humor videos.

“Good Home Cookin’ by Miss Babs & the Kickin’ Boogie Band is a wonderful CD. Babs Winn can be gutsy and driving when she sings an up- tempo number like the title song. On the other hand, her performances of the ballads are extremely heartfelt. I would like to single out the ballad ‘Love, Savannah’, which touched me very much. Babs, also being a fine actress, brings more depth to the picture by assuming the personality of the character she is singing about. The band is tight and the grooves (a la country) very infectious with ample space in between for excellent solos and sensitive accompanying during the soft songs. I recommend this CD.”

“Babs, I don’t think we ever could have hoped for anything quite as MAGNIFICENT as what you and your band delivered on Saturday night! You were AMAZING, and everyone was talking about the band the whole night through. You certainly kept your promise and had everyone out on the dance floor with ease”
